Bob Sircy's financial background as a CPA, CFO, and financial advisor has helped his team become one of the nation's top independent teams (part of an independent office) within Raymond James Financial Services. As Executive Vice President, he and his team of four, including partner, Zach Hurd, are focused on improving the financial lives of their clients and delighting them in the areas they can control.
Bob is or has been involved with a number of professional and civic organizations and is serving, or has served within organizations including the Financial Planning Association (Board), United Way of Metropolitan Nashville (past Treasurer and current Finance Committee member), BrightStone (Treasurer), Nashville Chapter of Financial Executives International (President), Christian Business Leaders Roundtable (Board), Executive Committee of the Business Leadership Counsel of Lipscomb University, and the Alumni Board of the Lipscomb College of Business. He has also served on the Boards and as Treasurer of the Direct Selling Association and Direct Selling Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Bob was awarded the 2008 Direct Selling Education Foundation Circle of Honor Award for his service to the foundation. In 2005, Bob was awarded the outstanding CPA in Industry and Business Award for the State of Tennessee by the Tennessee Society of CPAs, an award that recognized the contributions to the profession for CPAs working outside of the accounting realm. Also, in 2005, Bob's alma mater, Lipscomb University, recognized him as the Distinguished Alumni from the College of Business.
Bob has accounting and management degrees from Lipscomb University, where he served as study body President and was voted "Mr. Lipscomb" by his peers, one of whom he later married. Bob and Karen have three children, all living in Nashville. They are members of the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, and Bob is an alumnus of Christian Leadership Concepts (CLC).
Bob began his career at what is now Deloitte US, where he rose to the rank of manager. He was then recruited by a local Nashville public company, where he served as Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer and on the Board of Directors. Bob was next recruited to Southwestern/Great American Inc., where he served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and on its Board of Directors. In his 30 plus years with the corporate family, Bob served as CFO to a number of the subsidiary companies, several of which he helped start, including Southwestern Investment Group.
In 2019, Bob was named to Forbes list of Best in State Wealth Advisors and has been a member of the Raymond James Leaders Council consecutively since 2017. Bob and his team take great pride in serving their clients by helping them develop their long-term financial plan to accomplish their goals.
The Forbes ranking of “Best in State Wealth Advisor,” developed by SHOOK research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria and quantitative data. The advisors who are considered have a minimum of 7 years' experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, AUM , compliance records, industry experience, and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of 29,334 advisors nominated by their firms, 3,477 received the award. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of an individual client's experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its financial advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or SHOOK research.
Membership in the Raymond James Leaders Council is based on prior fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually. The ranking may not be representative of any one client's experience, is not an endorsement, and is not indicative of an advisor’s future performance. No fee is paid in exchange for this award/rating.

Rather, we have access to thousands of Mutual Funds, Stocks, Bonds, Certificates of Deposits, Money Market Accounts, Section 529 College Savings Plans, fifty Private Money Management Firms, and thousands of Insurance Products on the market.
