Cade is thrilled to be joining the Jesse Scroggins Wealth Team on a full-time basis. His association with the team began as an intern during the summer of 2022, and his experience made a significant impact, leading him to eagerly rejoin SageSpring upon graduating in 2023.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Cade graduated from the University of Alabama with a major in finance and a minor in personal wealth management. His academic journey highlights his strong affinity for financial expertise and the profound impact of genuine relationships.

Besides his passion for finance, Cade enjoys participating in a diverse range of sports, including golf, basketball, and football. Yet, his deepest joy stems from spending quality time with his family and actively participating in the life of his church.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Riley Nelsen found himself in Birmingham, Alabama, when he attended Samford University, majoring in finance. Knowing he wanted to become a financial planner, Riley came to SageSpring Wealth Partners for a college internship. He knew instantly upon starting his internship that this was the company where he wanted to spend the rest of his career.

Riley specializes in creating a personal planning experience for each client, with an emphasis on comprehensive financial planning, tax and estate planning, and excellent customer service. He is first and foremost committed to putting his clients first and serving them diligently.

When he’s not working with clients, Riley can be found spending his time with his wife, Gigi, and their friends. He also enjoys spending time outdoors from fishing to playing golf.

Holden, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Management. He began his career at SageSpring in our Nashville office, where he worked directly alongside a partner within the firm to learn and grow in the business. After several years in Nashville, he moved back to Birmingham.

Now based in the Homewood area, Holden lives with his wife, Sellers, and their boys. Deeply rooted in their community, they are active members of Homewood Community Church.

A nurse by trade, a career military wife, and a mother of 2, service is the best way that describes Jessica. Helping others is the fuel that drives Jessica to excellence in all that she touches.

Jessica is originally from Louisiana but left to follow their dreams of her husband becoming a military officer in the US Air Force. While transferring from one assignment to another, Jessica built her organizational skills by volunteering extensively for any opportunity available. After 25 years of service and her two children were adults and on their own, she decided to enter the finance world due to her passion for budgeting and investing.

Jessica and her husband Brian of 34 years have settled in Birmingham, Alabama. They have two sons with the oldest serving as a pilot in the US Air Force, and the youngest pursuing his doctorate in Nurse Anesthetist at UAB. Jessica enjoys hiking, serving veterans in need, traveling, golfing and Face Timing with her grandchildren Evan, Anna & Weston.

I remember when as a young boy I first noticed a real estate sign in my neighborhood. I hopped off my bike and grabbed one of the flyers. As I glanced at the price ($300,000), I was perplexed that anyone would have that much money. I turned toward home to ask my mom and dad that question.

Seeing my interest, my dad made an appointment for us to meet with our financial advisor. I listened intently as my parents talked with him about money and about our financial plan for the future. A desire to learn more about finances began and I knew it was going to be a part of my future.

I grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, am the youngest of five children and a graduate from the University of Alabama. My father was a pastor and also a licensed professional counselor. As I was growing up, he taught me the value of strong relationships.

That is why, as a financial advisor, I consider that building a trust relationship with my client is a top priority for me.

I have been working with individuals and families in Birmingham for about 11 years. I met my amazing wife Hannah at a Christian camp, JH Ranch, in 2009 and we married in 2013. Hannah is a graduate from Auburn University Nursing School. We enjoy fly fishing, hiking, gardening, running, cooking, and traveling. Even though it looks different with children Levi (6), Teddy (4), and Eleanor (1), we still love to go and make memories.

I am thankful to give you a little snippet of my life and I look forward to getting to know you! I feel confident we are able serve clients well at SageSpring Wealth Partners.

Jeff also serves on the board of Send Musicians to Prison, which shares hope, healing and restoration with the imprisoned through musicians & artists. Jeff actively supports other initiatives in the community by sitting on the board of The Signatry of Middle Tennessee and the Halftime Institute of Nashville. 

Witnessing his four children, Gracyn, Hunter, Tanner, and Logan, excel on the field is almost just as rewarding, if not more, than celebrating the victories of seeing his clients overcome obstacles and build wealth. Spending weekends boating on the lake, hiking mountain trails, and fishing with his family are the moments Jeff cherishes most.
